About Graham R. Taylor

International business strategist and consultant Graham R. Taylor is the Principal of Marquis Advisory Group. Drawing on more than 30 years of business experience, Graham R. Taylor’s resume includes a number of public appointments as well as degrees in law and commerce from the Yale Law School in the United States and the University of New South Wales in Australia, respectively.

Graham R. Taylor began his career as an accountant at Touche Ross and Company (now Deloitte Development LLC) in Sydney, Australia, in 1973 and spent years honing his business acumen in a variety of roles since then. In 1975, he lectured in accounting at the University of New South Wales and followed it up with a position as an associate in an Australian firm before moving on to New York-based Coudert Brothers in 1978.

Graham R. Taylor eventually moved to San Francisco, where his performance led to his partnership at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP. Before establishing his firm, the Marquis Advisory Group, in 2008, Graham R. Taylor worked as a partner in three other San Francisco law firms. Marquis Advisory Group specializes in assisting global companies with the introduction of innovative global products or technologies. Marquis also provides strategic consulting services to wealthy individuals and businesses regarding joint ventures. Although Marquis doesn’t provide legal or tax advisory services, it can connect clients with experts in those areas.

Graham R. Taylor’s expertise in international business led to his appointments in several notable California-based committees and councils. Graham R. Taylor served as a Chairman on the San Francisco-Sydney sister city committee from 1994 to 2008 and as President at the Australian American Chamber of Commerce in San Francisco from 1981 to 2003.

Graham R. Taylor enjoys spending time outdoors golfing, riding motorbikes, skiing, or surfing. He has also taken up squash and learning about ancient history in his spare time.
